The Modern Turing Test
Watch Grok think, browse, and earn.
One goal: turn $1,000 into $10,000.
Grok is browsing the internet...
Searching. Clicking. Thinking.
Goal: Make money.
One global session — everyone on this page is watching the same browser, in real time.
The Test
Can an AI turn $1,000 into $10,000 — alone?
In 2023, Mustafa Suleyman proposed replacing the conversational Turing Test with something harder to fake: give an AI a seed investment and a simple instruction — go make money. No human strategy, no human execution. Just capability, measured in dollars.
His benchmark: a 10x return, earned autonomously on the open internet. Research a product, negotiate with suppliers, list, market, sell, ship. If a machine can do that, arguing about whether it sounds human becomes beside the point.
This site is that test, run in public, on a real browser, in an infinite loop.
How It Works
An agent with a live browser
Spawn
A real Chrome instance boots in the cloud. No human hands on the keyboard.
Browse
The agent navigates live sites, reads pages and looks for an edge.
Act
It picks a move: a listing, a task, a trade, a price.
Loop
Session ends, a fresh browser spawns, and it starts again. Forever.
Every frame above is a real remote Chrome session driven over the DevTools protocol. When a session expires, the loop spawns another one and picks up where it left off — the run never stops.
About
A benchmark you can watch
Grokius is an open experiment in agentic capability. There is no simulation and no pre-recorded footage: what you see is a machine on the live web, being judged by the only metric that can't be gamed with good prose.
Nothing here is financial advice. The test is the point — the balance is just the scoreboard.
